Do you accept international orders?
Yes, we accept international orders on a limited, case by case basis. Due to increased processing costs and the potential for fraud, we reserve the right to refuse to ship our products to any country or territory outside of the US. Customs and import taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.
How fast do you process international orders?
Our service time is a high priority for us. Typically in stock items for domestic orders will ship within 1-4 business days. Our business days are Monday thru Friday except on National holidays. International customers will normally be contacted within that same time frame with shipping information.
What are the international shipping rates?
All orders shipped anywhere other than the 48 contiguous United States are treated differently by the shipping carriers we use and are categorized as international orders. Our international order shipping policy is designed to keep shipping costs to the minimum. Here’s how we keep the shipping costs as low as possible:
1. We receive an order to be shipped outside of the contiguous 48 United States
2. We pull the order, pack it, and weigh it
3. We contact the shipping carriers and tell them the size and weight of the order. They tell us how much they charge to ship it.
4. We don’t add anything to the shipping quotes we receive – we simply email the options that the shipping carriers provide to the customer.
5. The customer selects a shipping option and we charge the card on file for the shipping cost and send out your order
6. For customers paying through PayPal, once the shipping selection is made, we send a payment request for the shipping costs. Once that is paid we ship your order.
7. If a customer is ordering from us for the first time and the shipping cost makes the purchase unfeasible, we’re happy to cancel the order for a full refund.
8. The shipping quotes we receive are valid for one week only. If we don’t hear back from a customer within a week of emailing quotes, we may cancel the order.
Important updates to our international shipping policy effective October 2026:
• We no longer offer the “pay by check” option. The order must be paid in full when placed.
• We are not able change the order once it is packed. If shipping costs are high, we don’t offer the option to remove items, repack the order, and get new quotes.
• We will never charge a restock fee to a customer who’s cancelling their first order due to shipping costs.
• We reserve the right to charge a 10% restock fee, not to exceed $25, for customers with a history of placing large orders and cancelling and/or not responding to the email regarding shipping costs.
What form of payment do you accept for international orders?
We accept MasterCard, VISA or PayPal payments for international orders. We do not accept checks for international orders. All payments must be in US currency.
What extra costs could be involved for international orders?
Orders that are shipped to countries outside the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs tariffs, and fees levied by the destination country or the shipping company. These charges are the customer's responsibility and will be billed by the delivery company. We have no control over these charges and are unable to estimate them. Tariffs and taxes are neither collected nor included in your price calculation at the time of your order; for an estimate of these fees, which vary by region, please contact the customs office in your area.
While we cannot predict the costs of any order, this is an example of a recent order going to Ontario, Canada. The order subtotal was approximately $35; shipping quotes ranged from $33 to $42, and the customs fees requested upon delivery were approximately $20. This was for a 4 pound box measuring 12x10x10 inches.
Please note, if the customer refuses delivery, we cannot refund the shipping costs, and there will be a restocking fee of 25-30% of the order.
Are there any restricted products for export or import?
We are not restricted from exporting any of the products we
carry. However, individual countries due to biosecurity concerns, may impose
import restrictions on products contained plant materials. It is impossible for
us to know of the regulations for every country and therefore it is the responsibility
of the customer to be aware of any restrictions imposed by their country. If we
are aware of any specific restrictions, we will advise you prior to filling
your order.
