Question

Q: How easily breakable are these? I have a budgie who likes to throw toys onto the hard floor. He would love these balls but I'm afraid they might not survive a drop onto hardwood!

Q: is it safe for a citron cockatoo to destroy this toy? will he eat the plastic and does it have sharp edges when broke apart?

Hi Dan,

I'm confident that these balls would hold up to your budgie playing "pick it up for me" with his Dad unless his cage is positioned on a 2nd story loft.

The plastic used on this item is hard but it could be broken into sharp pieces by a strong enough beak. As with any toy, I would recommend that you base your decision on your personal knowledge of your bird and whether they are prone to interacting with items of this type in a destructive fashion.
